I love this one.
I wonder if it was about myself?

Seems though...
that it was written in two different
sessions of thought.
Pencil then pen.
So most likely it wasn't about
anyone specific.
Or even about me for that matter.
Sometimes it's just so easy to become
another person... another mind to unwind!
Almost like what an actor does I guess.
But it's really such an uplifting piece!
And I also love the lines that were crossed out!

"So I'm gonna let you into my heart"

I remember a day when I was running away
From everything I thought was real
Finding myself collecting the thoughts
Of the different ways I did feel
I was having my fun
Always on the run
I think a little scared of falling in love
In and out of days
Finding new ways
To give a push whenever love would shove
I've never really known
The things you've shown
I guess I never really took the time
I've never felt so good
I never thought I could
Live in a love filled rhyme
I can look in your eyes

I want to have you close to me

And it's the greatest thing that can be
