Love this song!
This song, and entire album really got me through more than a few dark days post divorce. It turned out to be
one of my "go-to" albums for sure.
Scott Stapp is the lead singer
for the band Creed.
This is his first solo record.
The entire album lifts me up.
Now, his songs are mostly
centered around god
and the whole religion theme.
Which is cool.
Although I'm having a bit of a
problem with that realm at the moment.

And so I just plug in whatever it is that's inspiring me and turn his incredible words and passion
into my own!
There's slow parts
for you to quickly reflect.
And you can't help but feel empowered by the guitar licks. They sound so simple, but they summon up an over-powering
need to be happy.
It's pretty neat.
And then the chorus
hits you right in the fucking face!
It gives you the chance to sing so loud at the top of your lungs in those moments when nothing else could ever do, and by the time the song ends, you're fucking bristling with emotion and able to conquer ANYTHING!
