LoLoL
Oh man...
I can't believe I like this thing!
I found a bunch of pages that I believe
were more attempts at scribing
lyrics to a song.
Now this one, if you just read it
as a straight forward writing,
and not a song...
it really reads well!
So...
one and a half thumbs up!
A Wait Come True
And a long time came
Oh when I was waiting for you
And I hope I'm still the same
Oh I hope you can see me through
Came a day of sunshine
It had a different spark of light
The night before was so fine
But there was something that just wasn't right
Well I jumped from bed
And my aching head
Well it didn't matter
On a sparkling sunday morn
I was showered and dressed
My hair still a mess
Man I felt I was newly born
Out the door straight for the park
The day was electric and something mean
Really felt like nothing before
There was the freshest air
The landscape beautifully clean
Oh on a morning like this
I find it hard to miss
I can not even mind the time
I feel there's something out there
Becoming ever so rare
And I need to make it mine
Several hours of fun
I called up everyone
We were nothing but instant action
Made a whole lotta friends
As we swept through the park
It seems we were the main attraction
But then again as we ran about
I felt that feeling inside
Like there was someone out there
In the middle of the park
Just waiting for me to come near
And there she stood
With her soft blue jeans
She was beautiful
Oh what a sweet sweet thing
Well I thought can this be it
The funny feeling I had
Tapped me on the shoulder
Said go ahead and give it a try
Oh on a morning like this
I can not miss
Forever will you
Be mine
It's been a month or so gone by
My mornings are all sunshine
Because waking up to her
Has made my wait come true
And now I never ever
Even mind the time
I just knew that feeling I had was different
My luck just had to be unreal
Another sunday morn
But I think I'll skip the park this time
I'd rather be here wrapped up in her
What a perfect feel
Oh on a morning like this
There is nothing but
Life... love & bliss
