Favorite Quotes... Oscar Wilde said this...

I absolutely love this quote!

Oscar Wilde was a very famous
Irish author... poet and playwrite
who died way too early at the age of 46
on November 30, 1900.
And even though this quote is some
126 years old...
it still reins true to this day!

None of us are ordinary!!

Oscar Wilde is buried in the famous cemetery...
Pere Lachaise in Paris France.
Another notable rock 'n roll hero
of mine is also there with Oscar...

Out of all the many incredible quotes
that came from Oscar's mind...
this one is by far my favorite.

Oscar Wilde said this...

"Never love anyone
who treats you
like you're ordinary!"

Words From The Attic... Middle Of The Night

Quit possibly another attempt
at writing lyrics.

This one is centered around the
Vietnam War.
Both during the madness...
and also the aftermath that
brought such emotional chaos
to the surviving veterans.

I love this one.

Also...
V.C. stands for Viet Cong.
The Communist Vietnamese.

Middle Of The Night

Something about the sound of silence
It rang in the ears of every man
I can feel a fight coming on
In the dead of the night
Better grab your guns
I think it's time
We make our stand

Oh can you feel the razor's edge
It's cutting down upon your soul
And let me tell you boy
That it don't give a damn
About what it cuts
'Cause you know some heads will roll

And it's the middle of the night
In the jungle of fright
Fighting swamps
And invisible V.C.
And it's the middle of the night
Like a blind man's sight
Waiting for a god sent bullet to free me

It's so hard to believe in your life
When you're living it day by day
The flares that burst amazing skies
Never really seem to fade away

We got hash pipes burning
Passing down the line
Thinking to ourselves
What a wasted head
Along with wasted time

Little Johnny checked out
Got shot 'bout a week ago
He was the youngest of the bunch
He was smartest of us all
And had the most to live for

And here comes the night
Again we're in the middle of the night
Losing our dreams
In the jungle of fright

Daytime comes and goes so fast
You hardly even know it's there
It seems we've been in the middle of the night
Since the day we first got here

In-country days
Impossible maze
Politicians feed the fire
And we sit here and fight their war
Without an ounce of desire

Tell me why they feed the fire
Tell me why I've lost my dreams
Tell me why I smell death
In the middle of the night
It's ten years past
And I cry
In the middle of the night

Words From The Attic... Wishful Thinking

This was something I wrote while onboard
the USS Nimitz cruising around
the Mediterranean Sea 1982/83.

We had a bunch of different girls
who we would write dirty poems
and stories to. And then they would
send their own filth our way...
it was all so funny!

Wishful Thinking

Well look at this
We're still at sea with nothing to do
Sleeping on our backs
And thinking of you

Each day it gets harder
And harder still
Looking for someone
Someone to fill

Girls on our mind day and night
And sometimes more
Waiting to soothe our aching tools
That hate the feeling
Of being ignored

Slowly make my way
To the top of your bod
I look in your eyes
In agreement they nod

Kissing your mouth
Your ears your cheeks
I slide my way down your back
Saliva is building as I reach your breast
Which are fully swollen
Nothing you lack

Down to your stomach
Slippery sweat
Approaching your own
The best part yet

But I pass it by
And slide down your leg
And I reach your feet
Then toe by toe
I suck each one
Slowly... warmly... complete

Then I crawl
Between your wide spread legs
And take your lips in mine
And taste your fruit
Your sweet sweet fruit
Like licking the rim
Of some sweet tasting wine

To be continued...

Wishful Thinking

Words From The Attic... You Can Count Them On One Hand

This looks like something I wrote
just a few months before I left
Staten Island for navy bootcamp
down in Orlando Florida
from the date that's penciled in.

Kind'a sounds like I was disappointed
in my friends or something?
Don't know why, because I'm still
friends with ALL of them...
and a lot of us are still hanging out
even still to this day.

I must have felt emotionally fucked up
I guess. And yeah... it was a bit
of a weird time for sure.

I took that title from a WHO song.
It's a lyric from an album they
put out in1975...

The song it came from is

I like the whole mess of words here!
Remember...
this is but a snapshot in a moment
of time in my life... pretty cool right!

Could be anyone of our lives in fact!!

You Can Count Them
On One Hand

A young man asked
Where has the time gone
20 years passed
And not a one I can depend on

They seem to come and go
In different stages
Tall and short
And varied ages

I know who I am
And what I can do
But there's someone out there
Who I just don't know
And that someone is you

I sit and dream
And wonder aloud
While the meaning of the word
Gets lost in a crowd

Some they do
And some they don't
Some they will
But some they won't

Do they realize what it is

Have they ever experienced it

Are they scared of it

Many don't know
Many don't care
Will you please explain it
If you dare

I have an idea of what it could be
But there's no one out there
Who will turn the key

The lock is on
But not for long
Because I think it's time
For another song

My place of birth
Is a wonderful land
But the salt is gone
Now it's just bland

The people I know
Are all I've got
But when I leave
I refuse to say forget me not

For if they do
Then I was right from the start

It's not that I don't care
Or don't give a shit
But it's the good times we've had
Sometimes they just don't fit

This is how I feel right now
August 6, 1981

I've got a lot of shit in front of me
in the next 4 years

But when it's all over
And we're coming to an end
I hope that I find a person
I can truly call... a friend

"How many friends have I really got
That love me
That want me
That'll take me as I am!"
Pete Townshend

Words From The Attic... Found My Like In You

Finding "that" one!

And being surrounded by amazing people!

Awesome!

Found My Life In You

So many times we overlook
The important things in life
The simple ways and means of living
Communication
Between husband and wife

Today we are bringing together
Both friendship and love
And we thank you all for being apart of our day
Without our friends and loved ones in life
Our dreams we have would slowly slip away

Becoming one life becoming one soul
Is a beautiful feeling inside
Being able to love and share your ideas
With someone so right
Both your hearts willing to abide
To keeping all your dreams
In sight

Words From The Attic... Filling The Shoes

It's like a bad remake of
LoLoL

Filling The Shoes

People to the left people to the right
Did you know that they all wanna dance
They stand in here with electric sunlight
Just waiting for a little chance

Lights come on and lights go off
You can hear the shuffling feet
Would you like to dance my pretty lady
You can't ignore the beat

Find your freedom your place in the sun
Where everyone's a star
Where Hollywood is second
And you're the one
Even though you don't own a fancy car

Well how about you
Would you like to dance with me
I may not be your dream come true
But I can fill your fantasy

Words From The Attic... You're Perfect

More positive talk!
No way she's gonna lose!

Love this girl...
whoever she is.

You're Perfect

Being away from all that you know
Can be kind'a hard
Pain and woe

When Something goes wrong
Here comes the end
Gather your thoughts and calm your mind
And the wrongs you have
Will start to mend

You're Perfect

Words From The Attic... It's Waiting For You

Inspiration!

Just turn that key!

It's Waiting For You

This is for you
For the smile you hold
Incredibly bright
What a perfect mold

You know the world
It's the way to be
You're a free spirit girl
Now turn the key

It's Waiting For You

Words From The Attic... Fallen Angel

Love this chick... don't you??

Fallen Angel

The rise and fall of days gone by
The rhyming of the sun
As it lights up the sky

Speckles of dust
From a lingering love
Turning to lust
With a healthy shove

As the sun it shines
On another day
You spread your love
And be on your way

Leaving your mark
With a smile in hand
And feeling so good
And oh so grand

Fallen Angel

Words From The Attic... Feeling's Inside

"Seeking out... her secret fear!"

Love this little thing.

Girls just cause the ink to flow
don't they!!

Feeling's Inside

Smiling seasons upon us all
Rivers rolling roses bright
As the parties now last
Throughout the night

A beautiful girl in a wandering field
The secrets she owns
Will be revealed

Sparkling days are crystal clear
And spending your time
With the one you love
Seeking out her pain
Her secret fear

Feeling's Inside
