Words From The Attic... Rainy Day Love

tommyrawblog@gmail.com

This seems to be an attempt
at converting a poem that
flows along pretty well
into song lyrics
after the original verse
was already completed.

The chorus is written
on the back
and as you see
from the hand written piece
it gets plugged in twice
where you see the
encircled number 1.

Wow...
how on earth do our rock hero's write such amazing material!!??

It's way more difficult
then one would think... LoL
I found a few other's...
maybe I'll post them as well.
Maybe?

Rainy Day Love

It was a misty day
Like a rainy day
And everything was blue
The sun gave way
To a mass of clouds
There was nothing I could do

So I got half dressed
Put my sneakers on
And I headed on out the door
I was running wild
Through the city streets
And you wouldn't believe
What a sight I saw

Rainy day love
In the back of my mind
Sets me free
Helps me to unwhined
Need a rainy day love
Of your very own
She keeps you warm
So you're never alone

Holy shit
Would you look at that
Let me pinch myself one time
For looking at me... was a fancy free
Little woman needing a rhyme

I said hello
How do you do
Would you take my hand in yours
And we splashed our way
Through those city streets
Passed the lights
The bums
And the burned out stores

Without a care... we ramble on
And I squeeze her hand real tight
And before we knew
The day was through
And we walked on through the night

Rainy day love
In the back of my mind
Sets me free
Helps me to unwhined
Need a rainy day love
Of your very own
She keeps you warm
So you're never alone

You've reached my soul
With your gentle touch
Can I please see you again
You've warmed my heart
So very much
Catch the love I send

Rainy Day Love
Rainy Day Love horrible chorus... LoL
